Downsview Park engagement | Justine + Sheh

After deciding on Downsview Park as the location for their engagement photos, Justine & Sheh’s next question was “What time should we meet to start?” A little unsure what their response would be, I asked if they would be up to starting at sunrise. Without any hesitation they both promptly agreed, then followed up with asking,”so what time is that exactly?” After a short pause I replied “….5:45am”. Again, without hesitation they were on board and good to go! These two are troopers! With Laura off on maternity leave, I then had to break the news to Nathan, a good friend from college who was joining us for the shoot. Nathan also travelled with us to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic for Justine & Sheh’s Destination wedding.

The only thing that sucks about sunrise photo shoots are the few moments that immediately follow your alarm waking you up. I did notice my coffee tasting extra delicious that morning tough! Luckily for me everyone was in good spirits and had a great time, quickly forgetting that it was all my doing having so far from their quiet and comfy bed. With the eSession starting so early, there really wasn’t anyone around to disturb us. We also couldn’t have asked for better weather or light! Here is a selection of images.
